Menu onboarding for ordering platforms

We build your merchants' menus. $59 a catalog, 72 hours.

Kalsora is the menu desk your onboarding queue does not have. Send whatever the restaurant already has — a PDF, a phone photo, a spreadsheet, or its DoorDash listing — and a complete, validated, import-ready catalog comes back in your own format. An AI pipeline does the heavy lifting; a human reviews every catalog.

What we do

Six jobs, priced per catalog

Everything between a signed merchant and a live store. Pick one line or all six — the price is on the page either way, so standard work never needs a quote call.

from $59

Catalog builds

Any source — PDF, phone photo, website, spreadsheet, or a live listing on a delivery app — turned into a clean, import-ready catalog with categories, items, prices and descriptions in place.

from $47

Catalog audits

A full read of a store that is already live: duplicates, typos, prices that drifted, broken category structure, modifiers wired to nothing. Found, listed, and fixed.

+$12 / language

Menu translation

Two languages ship with every catalog — English plus one of your choice. Each language after that is $12, or take all 16 for $119. Brand names stay untouched; dish names are translated with the food in mind, not word for word.

+$23 / catalog

Option groups & modifiers

The base catalog covers items, categories, prices and descriptions. This adds the ordering logic on top: sizes, extras, toppings and combos, built, priced and wired to the right products.

from $59

Platform migrations

Pulling a restaurant off DoorDash, Grubhub, Toast or another ordering system? We mirror the existing menu — items, options, photos — into yours, faithfully. Priced as a catalog build.

from $18

Photo matching

Product shots renamed to the right items and delivered ready to upload with the catalog. From $18 for organized sets; unsorted sets are quoted after a quick look.

The 72 hours, spent

Where the clock goes

The window is the product. Here is what happens inside it, and when — the clock starts the moment the menu reaches us, so a wait on your side never burns it.

Hour 0

The menu arrives

Forward the email, drop the file, or send us the link to the restaurant's existing listing. Nobody has to retype anything first, and the merchant is not asked for a thing.

Hour 12

It is built and under review

Items, prices, option groups and translations are assembled by pipeline, then read line by line by a person. Anything unreadable gets flagged rather than guessed.

Hour 72

It lands in your format

Your own import template, filled and ready to upload, plus a one-page note on what we caught and fixed. Or skip the file — we load it into your back office and hand the store over live.

Need it tomorrow? Rush turns the same catalog around in 24 hours. Two rush slots a day, so it stays a real commitment rather than a surcharge.

On time, or it's free. Miss the window and that catalog costs nothing — the whole price, not a partial refund.

Answered before you ask

The two questions that decide it

Nearly every platform asks the same pair first: what we can take in, and what comes back out. Both answers are longer than they need to be, on purpose.

What you send

What can you send us?

Whatever the restaurant already has, in whatever state it is in. Nothing needs cleaning up first — that is the job you are handing over.

  • PDF menus, exported or scanned
  • Photos off a phone — a printed menu, a chalkboard, a laminated card, handwriting
  • Excel or CSV, however the columns are arranged
  • Word files, plain text, or a menu pasted into an email
  • A link to the restaurant's own website
  • An export from the system they are leaving

Already on a delivery app? That is a menu. If the restaurant is live on DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Toast or ChowNow, we rebuild that listing as a catalog on your platform — and we need nothing from the merchant at all.

What comes back

What do we send back?

Whatever your platform actually imports. Tell us on the intro call, once, and that is the shape every catalog arrives in from then on.

  • Your own import template, filled in and ready to upload
  • Generic Excel or CSV
  • JSON
  • No file at all — we load the catalog into your back office ourselves and hand it over live
  • Either way: a one-page note on what we caught, fixed and flagged

You never adapt to our format. We adapt to yours, and we do the mapping work once so your team never sees it.

How long does one catalog take?

Standard is 72 hours. Rush is 24, with two rush slots a day. Economy is within seven days and applies to batches of five catalogs or more.

On time, or it's free. Miss the window and that catalog costs nothing — the whole price, not a partial refund. The clock starts when the menu reaches us.

How many items fit in one catalog?

Up to 100 items is the standard catalog at $59. From 101 to 250 items it is $99. Larger than that, send it over and you get a fixed quote after a look — not an hourly rate.

What does a catalog cost, all in?

$59 for a standard catalog of up to 100 items in 72 hours, with two languages and a human review included. Speed moves it: $47 economy, $89 rush. Add-ons are priced separately — $12 an extra language, $23 for option groups, photo matching from $18.

Platforms with a steady queue get a volume plan. The whole price list is on this page.

How many languages are included?

Two, in every catalog: English plus one of your choice. Each language after that is $12, or all 16 for $119. Brand names are left alone, and dish names are translated with the food in mind rather than word for word — a US menu translated for a Spanish-speaking neighborhood should still read like the same restaurant.

Do you build modifiers and option groups?

Yes, $23 per catalog. Sizes, extras, toppings and combos, built, priced and attached to the right items. It works either direction: we wire up the groups you already define, or create them from the menu. A very large modifier matrix gets quoted after we see it.

Who reviews the work?

A person, line by line, before anything reaches you. Every catalog ships with a one-page note listing what was caught, fixed and flagged: duplicates, typos, prices that contradict each other, structure the source menu never had.

What happens when part of a menu is unreadable?

It gets flagged, never guessed. A blurred price is not invented. Anything we cannot read with confidence is listed in the quality note, item by item, so you or the merchant can confirm it in a minute — and the rest of the catalog still lands inside the window.

Do you need access to our platform?

Only if you want us in there. The default is a file: it lands in your inbox and your team imports it in a couple of clicks. If you would rather skip that step, a merchant-level login is enough for us to load the catalog and hand the store over live.

How many catalogs a week can you take?

Enough to clear a normal onboarding backlog, and the pipeline is what makes that true — throughput scales with menus, not with headcount. Batches are welcome and get the economy rate at five or more. If your queue is steady rather than lumpy, ask about a volume plan on the intro call.
